So you've scheduled your photos, and had an amazing session with me, so whats next?! I currently have a 2 week turn around time for family, and branding sessions. Weddings are 8-10 weeks. I go through all the photos taken, and edit all images. I then create an online gallery that will be emailed to you, and from there you can download the amount of images that came with your package, order extra files, prints, canvas', albums and even share with family for them to order their own! Super easy as the gallery give you step by step instructions as you go!

I recommend booking your session within 4-6 weeks of when you would like your photos taken. I am taking limited sessions this year due to having a full summer season at White Aspen. If you need a session last minute I will do my best to squeeze you in or recommend you to another amazing photographer. Picking outfits can feel like a daunting task. But I say keep it as simple as possible! I suggest a neutral color pallet. This keeps your images timeless and work well with any home decor. Creams, whites, & grays are always a great choice. Try playing with textures like linen, and heavy material such as a chunky sweater or fun accessories like layered jewelry or scarf. You can always through in some softer color tones like blue or green that tie in well with the natures surroundings. Most importantly, wear something you are comfortable and confidant it. Getting Ready for your session as a family can seem stressful, but it doesn't have to be! Making sure to plan ahead takes a lot of the stress away. Schedule your shoot at least 4 weeks in advance, this ensures time to plan your outfits, order anything new, mom to get a fresh new hair cut etc. Plan to leave for your shoot early. Bring non messy snacks for the drive and their favorite toy to keep them busy on the car ride. Once at the shoot they will get to run a bit to let some energy out. I photograph more of a lifestyle look, which is less stressful on the parents, being causal and playing with your kids. Its way less stressful then formal photos.

QUESTION 3 // WHERE WILL THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE? any suggestions?
For branding sessions I always recommend bringing items that you use for work, such as a laptop, coffee mug, favorite pen and note pad. If you make an item, bring tools that you use and samples of your completed work. We can also chat more in detail about what to bring depending on your session.
QUESTION 2 // HOW MANY PROPS SHOULD I PROVIDE for the session?
I always want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so if that means, jeans and a tshirt, go for it! I do always suggest neutral color pallets. Such as whites, creams, and grays. You can bring in some texture by changing up the fabrics with a linen or soft sweater. Layers and accessories are always great options as well. These always photograph well and will never go out of style.
QUESTION 1 // DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHAT TO WEAR?
We Play! But really! I have a super cute clear umbrella I can bring, and as long as you have fun with it the images will still turn out amazing! Central Oregon has a funny climate system and usually if its raining in one part of town, doesn't mean its raining in another. Also, if it is raining its a sprinkle or a quick downpour we can hide away from for 5-10 minutes and then catch the amazing clear sunset skies right after! But just know if rain is on the forecast, I am watching and will let you know if I feel we need to reschedule.
QUESTION 6 // WHAT HAPPENS IF ITS AN OUTDOOR SESSION AND IT RAINS?

I always recommend getting your hair and makeup done professionally! You will feel so much more confidant and out together for your photo session. I can recommend several amazing hair and makeup artist that will help you feel your best!
